May 2026 AI-generated Truth Social image of Pritzker eating
The Journal Star reported that Trump used his Truth Social account on Saturday to "lob yet more attacks at Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker over his weight." The post was an AI-generated image of Pritzker at a table holding "a double cheeseburger in one hand and a slice of pizza in the other." The table also held a "jumbo-sized" bucket of fried chicken, nachos, spaghetti and meatballs, a milkshake and a chili dog. The caption read "JB is too busy to keep Chicago safe!" The same article says it wasn't the first time: in November 2025, at the White House turkey pardon, Trump called Pritzker a "Big, fat slob."

At the White House turkey pardon on Nov. 25, 2025, President Trump called Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker "a big fat slob" while talking about Chicago crime, according to the Rev transcript. Later in the same speech he mentioned a speechwriter's "joke about his weight" and said, "I refuse to talk about the fact that he's a fat slob." On Aug. 25, 2025, during Oval Office remarks about a possible National Guard deployment to Chicago, Trump called Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker "a slob" and said he should spend "more time in the gym, actually" (Mediaite transcript; The Hill/NewsNation). A syndicated news report described Trump as "mocking the Illinois governor's weight." Aug 2023 Trump's remarks about Chris Christie's weight in Windham, New Hampshire
On Aug. 8, 2023, during a speech in a high school gym in Windham, New Hampshire, Trump said of Chris Christie, then running against him for the Republican nomination, "Christie, he's eating right now. He can't be bothered," and then told an audience member not to call Christie "a fat pig" (NBC News; Fox News). NBC News described this as mocking Christie "over his eating habits and his weight," and Fox News called it "just the latest instance" of Trump poking fun at Christie's weight. Fox cited earlier Truth Social posts, including a June 2023 post asking whether Christie had "a psychological problem with SIZE." The same day, Trump posted that he had been "extremely respectful of Sloppy Chris Christie today in New Hampshire" (Fox News).

Feb 2020 "Mini Mike" remarks about Michael Bloomberg's height
In a Feb. 13, 2020 tweet, Trump called Democratic candidate Michael Bloomberg "a 5'4" mass of dead energy" and added "No boxes please." Earlier, in a Fox News interview with Sean Hannity that aired before the Feb. 2 Super Bowl, Trump called Bloomberg "very little" and said he "wants a box for the debates to stand on." The Bloomberg campaign answered: "The president is lying." The AP fact-checked the height claim and reported that Bloomberg's doctor put him at 5 feet 7 inches. PolitiFact rated as False a viral photo, posted the same day as the tweet, that had been altered to make Bloomberg look much shorter next to Trump. On Feb. 2, Bloomberg press secretary Julie Wood said: "The president is lying. He is a pathological liar who lies about everything: his fake hair, his obesity, and his spray-on tan." (FOX 32). The AP reported that Bloomberg answered the Feb. 13 tweet with his own tweet, quoted there as: "Behind your back they laugh at you & call you a carnival barking clown." The AP also reported that at a Greensboro, North Carolina rally, Bloomberg said, "He calls me Little Mike and the answer is, 'Donald, where I come from we measure your height from your neck up.'" The AP fact check said "Bloomberg is not that short," citing his doctor's December letter (5 feet 7 inches) and New York newspaper reports of 5-6 to just under 5-8. It also said Trump's own height "has been a moving target." PolitiFact said the original photo, from the New York Observer's 25th anniversary in March 2013, shows "Bloomberg's head clears Trump's chin."

Nov 2017 "Short and fat" tweet about Kim Jong Un
Trump tweeted from Hanoi during his Asia tour: "Why would Kim Jong-un insult me by calling me 'old,' when I would NEVER call him 'short and fat?' Oh well, I try so hard to be his friend — and maybe someday that will happen!" (CNBC, BuzzFeed News, Newsweek). CNBC reported he was responding to a North Korean Foreign Ministry statement that called his South Korea speech "reckless remarks by an old lunatic." Times of Israel (AFP) described the tweet as Trump "taunting the North Korean leader over his height and weight."
